We are now accepting registrations for our online courses for 2006. Three new courses on Public Debt Management will be offered as part of our course offering. We are also launching in early 2006 our first online course on Capital Market (in Russian language). Register now.
 
UNITAR/DFM signs Agreement of Cooperation with Indonesia/Australia
(August 2005)
UNITAR and the Indonesia-Australia Technical Assistance Management Facility for Economic Governance (TAMF) have signed an Agreement of Cooperation in which UNITAR will assist the Indonesian Ministry of Finance through training in the legal aspects of public debt and drafting clauses of loan agreements as well as review the Indonesian draft external debt law in year 2005.

As part of this course, 184 participants from 67 countries successfully completed all course assignments and are eligible for a certificate. (Joint UNITAR/Pôle-Dette High-level seminar on the Legal Aspects of Debt and Financial Management for the French-speaking Africa has been completed last December 3-5, 2001 in Yaoundé, Cameroon. This seminar invited 35 high government officials from 11 African countries)
 
Joint UNITAR/Pôle-Dette needs assessment missions in French- speaking Africa completed (November 2001)
(UNITAR and Pôle-Dette concluded two needs assessment missions in the Legal Aspects of Debt and Financial Management for the CEMAC Region/Central Africa (Cameroon and Republic of Congo) and UEMOA Region /West Africa (Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal).
